Fighting through my demons

I fought through my demons, 

I fought through the gap that widened and released pain.

The pain that held me down, 

The pain that was slowly destroying me. 

I was fighting, but it was not enough.

I let the pain fill me, 

Break me. 

But I fought harder, 

I am fire, 

I am light,

I am the darkness that turns into light, 

I saved myself.

I fought my demons.
